Size:120×65×85（cm） Material:黒御影石／Black granite 作家プロフィール御嵜翔太郎 Misaki Shotaroハッとするような彫刻を造りたいと思っています。早朝のすがすがしい空気の中、ハンマーと鑿で石を叩いてい ると、目の覚めるような快音が響き、石の強い抵抗を感じま す。私はこの時いつも、自分は今生きているんだ、と強く実感 します。 自然災害が頻発している今、生きている実感について改めて 考えさせられます。生きたくても生きることが出来なかった人 や、やりたいことを諦めなくてはならなかった人がいます。生 きることは、自分が自分であること強く認識することだと思っ ています。 石という強固な自然の中で形を模索することで、生きている ことを実感できる彫刻を造っていきます。 I wanted to make the sculpture which would surprise people. Early morning in the fresh air, wakes me up with a pleasant sound while striking the stone with a hammer and a chisel, and then, I feel the stone resisting me strongly. Always at this moment, I strongly feel that I am alive. Natural disaster is occurring frequently these days, and that makes me think deeply about 'feeling alive' once again. There are some people who couldn't stay alive even though he/she wanted to live, or people who had to give up on the things he/she wanted to do. I consider that staying alive is to recognize self-identity strongly. I made the sculpture which could 'feel alive' by seeking the form in the powerful nature using the stone.
